2×2 Worldwide, Land Rover bicycle distributors, have launched their own bike brand and have recently revealed information on the first bike, the £500 Race.
Scott Hillyard, Sales Director for 2×2 Worldwide says: “We have been bowled over by the success of the commute and flat bar bikes in the 2010 Land Rover range launched last September so, after constant prompting from our customer base we are now launching road specific product for 2010.”
The Race features a lightweight 7005 aluminium frame, carbon forks, 16 speed Shimano STI’s, Shimano chain set and even Mavic rims but still manages to retail under £500 making it an ideal starter bike for a first timer or a great hack bike for a serious cyclist as it has full mudguard clearance.
The Race model is scheduled for availability in a couple of weeks, though 80% have been pre‐sold.
