Velobici will be among the artisans exhibiting at Bespoked Bristol, the UK’s handmade bike show, which opens today.
Chris Puttnam and Tara Love were both born into Leicestershire’s once mighty knitwear industry and are doing their bit to revive the local industry by having their garments made in the county.
A roadwear range is coming soon, but Velobici has built its reputation to date on high quality merino wool garments to be worn on and off the bike.
The Ride Bundle features some of the more cycle-specific garments of their collection.
A Supplex base layer promises a soft feel and high moisture wicking, while the warm collar and arm warmers are both made from merino wool.
The merino used in the arm warmers includes a Coolmax mix and anti-slash elbow protection. The warm collar is 100 per cent merino.
