A decent multi-tool is a must-have item for any cyclist, and can save your bacon when something fails on your bike. So a well designed tool that won’t fail you in your hour of need is a high priority. There’s plenty of choice in the market for such tools already but that hasn’t stopped Lezyne turing up with their unique design approach.

This is the smallest multi-tool in the range, and contains just Allen keys (4, 5 and 6mm) and a Phillips screwdriver – probably the bare minimum you’d need to get you back on the road again following a ‘mechanical’. The tool bits are forged and CNC machined from chrome vanadium steel, so are solid and dependable. The side plates are forged and anodized aluminium, with a CNC-machined logo. Spend a bit more and you can have a carbon side-plate or stainless steel version. This model weighs just 58g.

One of the nice aspects of this multi-tool is the solid and centered pivot based on the tool bits. Often, manufacturers simply ‘bend’ the end of the tool bit around the pivot, but Lezyne’s unique approach results in a much cleaner, and nicer to use, tool. It’s almost a shame to use it.
