Summer is now firmly on the horizon and, as a result, we’ve teamed up with Sportful to give you the chance to win a complete summer ensemble (jersey, bib shorts, socks) from the Italian firm’s Grupetto range worth more than £160.
Sportful, based in Fonzaso, in the heart of the Dolomites, sponsor Alberto Contador’s Saxo-Tinkoff team and the Gruppetto collection shares the same material technology, cut and fit as the kit worn the squad – but without the sponsors’ logos.
The Grupetto Team Jersey is made from a Dry Pro microfibre fabric for optimal wicking and breathability. The jersey is designed for long rides in hot conditions, with an anatomic fit and plenty of stretch in the fabric.
Meanwhile, the Grupetto Bib Shorts are constructed using an aerodynamic AeroFlow Compress fabric, which is also designed to offer enhanced muscle support. The fabric has a dimpled surface to improve aerodynamics, while the flatlock stitching has been moved away from the frontal areas to smooth airflow.
Finally, the Grupetto Socks are made from lightweight Meryl Skinlife bacteriostatic yarns. Compression bands on the cuff and midfoot help support your foot and the socks have a 12cm cuff.
