Congratulations to Phil Copeland, Shaun Bradbury, and Mike Masterson – the three winners in our competition with Pendragon Sports to offer free entry to the Tour of Wessex sportive.
Phil Copeland wins the star prize of a VIP package to the event, with free entry to all three stages of the sportive, free camping throughout, and a rider breakfast each morning. Additionally, Phil will also collect a free One Life ID card, mobile phone ICE screen, and free alert stickers. Well done, Phil.
Mike Masterson and Shaun Bradbury both win free entry to a stage of their choosing, a free night’s camping, and a free rider breakfast.
Mike and Shaun will also receive OneLife iD rider pack including a free Card iD, a Mobile ICE Screen to display your key ICE info, and reflective alert stickers, courtesy of the Tour of Wessex’s partnership with OneLife iD.
Entry to the 2013 Tour of Wessex closed last Friday (May 17), and our winners will be among the last to gain entry to this prestigious event – one of the toughest sportives on the domestic calendar.
Stage one on Saturday (May 25) will see the riders tackle up to 107 miles of beautiful countryside in the counties of Somerset and Wiltshire.
The following day, Sunday May 26, riders will continue their journey through Somerset before crossing the border into Dorset, on a journey that takes in the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site.
Stage three, the last of the stages, to be held on Monday May 27, will take in the north coast of Somerset, including the pretty seaside town of Minehead, the stunning scenery of Exmoor National Park en route to Devon.
Many thanks to all who entered the competition, and very best of luck to Mark, Shaun, and Mike on their Tour of Wessex!
