Nearly a week into this 101st Tour de France and there has yet to be a quiet stage.
Each has been packed with incident, giving the riders plenty to comment upon when their day’s work is done.
Stage seven was no different, with crashes, especially that of Garmin-Sharp’s Andrew Talanksy, who hit the deck hard in the finishing sprint after an extended look to his right, dominating the riders’ Tweets.
There were more than a few displays of camaraderie too, and acknowledgement among the riders of the efforts of rival teams. Oh, and a health update from a certain Team Sky rider.
