The Lapierre Xelius EFI 600 racing bike arrived at RCUK in late December as an early Christmas present for us to try on our test loops.

We have since been putting it through its paces on a host of geographical features, with brutish ascents and fast cornering for this French-designed racing machine to negotiate.

And it is fair to say, this impressive machine excelled at every task asked of it – with climbing swift and unhindered, corners negotiated with pin sharp handling, and the flatlands covered quickly courtesy of its natural turn of speed.
