Ultimately the choice of aluminium or carbon wheels comes down to preference, budget and need but there is still plenty to ponder on the relative merits of each.
We decided to put them to the test and see how they compared on a brief, out-and-back test circuit on a wind-battered day – perfect to test the varying claims for stability and aero efficiency claims.
