Full-length leg warmers, ideally paired with a fleece-lined bib-short, represent the thinking man’s alternative to bib-tights in the opinion of your humble correspondent: more stylish somehow, and offering greater freedom of movement.
These SuperRoubaix offerings from Café du Cycliste follow the design cues of the Loulou arm warmer and so uses a multi-panel construction (four) and ends in a deep cuff at the ankle. At the opposite end, we find a silicone band, which, combined with the hem of the short, should hold the warmers in place.
Like the arm warmer, the Loulou leg warmer is finished with a short strip of reflective piping, a contrasting ‘chocolate’ panel, and a felt CDC logo on the left warmer.
The Café Du Cyclist Loulou Cuff leg warmer is available in black and chocolate, and in small, medium and large, and costs £45 a pair.
