Red Ant Precision is a new bike maintenance brand which has been added to the portfolio at i-ride, a distributor whose other brands include De Rosa, Argon 18, Fulcrum, 3T and Northwave.
Red Ant produce cleaning products and frame protector sprays tailored specifically for carbon fibre, titanium and matte finish frames.
All Red Ant products costs £9.99, and are pH neutral and bio-degradeable. The cleaning products have a built-in degreaser, and the frame protector sprays are water repellent and designed to stop dirt and grime sticking to the frame.
They also offer UV protection and, in the case of the carbon fibre and titanium products, have a gloss enhancer designed to give your frame a ‘good as new’ finish, which is said to last for up to four weeks. The formula is also silicone-free so won’t attack brake pads/discs and other components.
