Everyone loves a gadget, and cyclists are no different. Just look at the way technology has been slowly ingratiating itself into the road bike over the last 20 years.
First it was bike computers, then heart rate monitors, power meters, electronic shifting and, with projects like Canyon’s MRSC bike, it could go even further in the future.
And, like everything, some riders stubbornly refuse to use these tools, preferring to go old-school while others readily embrace them and would happily go out riding with as many bits of tech on their bike as the frame could take without snapping.
