Hincapie Vantage Glove
The sleekest garment in a sleek collection, the Hincapie Vantage mitt follows a trend among the peloton for deep cuffs and slippery fabrics (see the recently previewed CVNDSH mitt). Seams are minimal and the coverage is excellent, extending some 40mm above the wrist bone on our size small sample set.
The palm is of greater interest. Made from a synthetic fabric called ‘chamude’, and which has the appearance and feel of leather, based on this sample, it looks equipped to provide grip and comfort, aided in its pursuit of the latter by a deep gel insert.
The Hincapie Vantage glove comes in four sizes, from S to XL, and in three colours: ‘harbor’ (light blue and yellow), red and white, and the ‘clay’ scheme pictured. It costs $35.
