KCNC have unveiled a titanium 10-speed cassette, stepping away from alloy for their latest piece of kit to hit the market.
The new cassette is, according to KCNC, more durable and has 10 individual Ti cogs mounted on a one-piece anodised 7075 alloy carrier.
The 11-23t cassette weighs 113g, and it’s also available in 12-25t and 12-27t. Mountain bike versions are expected to follow shortly.
The cassette is complimented by KCNC’s new 116 link gold chain, which follows its previous YBN chains, and has improved plate profiles, pin treatment and bushingless construction. The cassette will retail at £334.99, while the chain hits the market at £45.99.
Also new from KCNC are their integrated seat post clamps, designed for 34.9mm seat masts. They come in four guises – in line (SP9) or lay back (SP10), and with 50mm or 100mm of vertical adjustment.
They’re machined from 7075 alloy and are available in anodised red, gold or black, with Ti bolts all round. Expect to pay £84.99 for the 50mm version and £91.99 for the 100mm one.
