Amazing how many cycle tools can be crammed into a 50mm square housing. Aussie accessories manufacturer Knog has managed to get, not seven, not 12, but a whole 20 assorted bottle openers, spoke keys, open ended spanners and Allen keys into the eponymous Tool 20 and still have room for a nice blue anodised, forged aluminium cover.
It is one of three models. The minimalist Tool 7, unsurprisingly, gets seven tools: 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6mm Allen keys, a Phillips head screwdriver and a bottle opener. Weighing under 120g, it has a black cover and a price tag of £22.99.
Tool 12 is red, has an SRP of £28.99 and adds 2.5 and 8mm Allen keys, flat head ‘driver, Torx 25 bit and a 15mm spanner for an additional 8g.
With a chain tool, 8, 10and 13mm spanners and selection of four spoke keys as well as those found in its simpler brethren, Tool 20 is bound to be the heaviest and does not disappoint with a claimed 178g.
All tools are plated chrome vanadium steel and there’s a little rubber tab in their midst to make extrication easier. Test soon.
