A limited edition of the volume “Le Metier, the seasons of a professional cyclist” by Team Sky rider Michael Barry and photographer Camille McMillan will be available for purchase from the 14th May 2010.
Only 50 copies of the book will be produced, each one numbered and signed by both the author and photographer. The limited edition will be enclosed in a special slipcase bound with a silkscreen image of the book showing the Wall of Huy. Each silkscreen is used to bind four slipcases, meaning that the full image will only be visible if a sequence of four different cases were placed together.
The book is intended to offer an honest insight into the life and sometimes strange world of the professional racing cyclist; the text is accompanied by evocative and atmospheric photographs.
The limited edition book will cost £100. The standard edition is now available to buy, price £35.
