Our latest London Bike Show round-up features the latest machines from Vitus, Starley, Aprire, Canyon and Olympia.
Vitus, a French brand resurrected by Chain Reaction Cycles, sponsor the UCI Continental-registered An Post-CRC team and the squad’s bike for this season took pride of place on the Vitus stand.
The Vitesse Evo is, as the name suggests, an evolution of the frame we tested this time last year. A new bottom bracket and reprofiled tubes are among the changes which have resulted in a frame which Vitus say is stiffer and more comfortable than the previous incarnation.
Meanwhile, two very different bikes from Starley caught our eye. The SS is a modern classic based around a stainless steel frame, while the AO is Starley’s new aero road bike.
We also checked out a British designed and Italian made steed from Aprire, a Canyon Aeroad in Movistar team colours and two machines from Olympia which give us a glimpse in to the future.
