Neil Pryde’s Alize and Diablo have received the Red Dot Design Award seal of approval.
Best known in the marine market, the Alize and Diablo mark Neil Pryde’s first foray into the cycling industry.
The two were developed drawing on the company’s extensive knowledge of composite materials and aerodynamics, and vast experience in ‘Elegantly Engineering’ high-performance action sports products.
The Alize, described by Neil Pryde as “perfect for the competitive cyclist who thrives on breaking away from the peloton”, won a favourable review from RoadCyclingUK in February, while the Diablo, the company’s top-of-the-range model, impressed during last month’s training camp in Majorca.
“As always, our jury cast a very careful eye over the products submitted. Design quality has asserted itself clearly in the judging process, with genuine and new creative solutions also being rewarded,” said Red Dot founder Professor Dr. Peter Zec.
“Both of these criteria are not just yardsticks for good design, but also for the potential for success on the market.”
