Prendas Ciclismo Meraklon Armwarmers £7.50 or 2 pairs for £12
Armwarmers are a vital clothing item right now, when the weather is warm enough by mid-morning to persuade all but the most cold-blooded of cyclists to ride with bare arms. By early evening, the temperature can still drop fast enough to make those bare arms feel very chilly, especially when riding home after an evening criterium or spin around the local lanes.
These arm warmers by Dorset-based Prendas Ciclismo are knitted or woven from Meraklon, which is used extensively for sports underwear because it is thermal, lightweight and quick drying. It also wicks moisture effectively, feeling comfortable as the temperature drops. They pack down small enough to fit in a jersey pocket, and have a thick elasticated cuff and thinner elasticated top end for a secure fit. Size Medium will fit a claimed 95% of the population. It is fine for the regular-sized tester, with plenty of stretch to spare. The alternative is Small.
Colours are Black with Red/White lettering and Blue logo, White with Celeste lettering and logo and Blue with White logo but no lettering.
