Raleigh has unveiled its model year 2015 range, unveiling an expanded offering that now includes new model, the Criterium.
The Nottinghamshire-based brand, arguably Britain’s most iconic, expanded their range significantly last year, and the Militis, Revenio and cyclo-cross ranges have been refreshed for MY2015.
Disc brakes have also been added to the Revenio endurance range for the first time, expanding the range to ten bikes.
The endurance range – fitted as standard with wider-section rims and 25mm Schwalbe tyres – includes both carbon and aluminium alloy frames.
The Militis remains their flagship offering however, with British trade team Team Raleigh having blasted to 110 podium places on the machines last year.
And the flagship bike now boasts an 880g frame – the lightest Raleigh has ever produced. It’s paired with a 380g C6 monocoque carbon fork.
The new Criterium range, meanwhile, also fits in Raleigh’s ‘Performance’ offerings – where the Aura Time Trial bike remains from 2014 too.
Built to offer a more relaxed geometry to the Militis, the endurance blend carbon frame and all-composite fork – including carbon blades and steerer – was designed as a more versatile performance bike.
Finally the RX range of cyclo-cross has been refined and a fifth model added, with input from Raleigh USA.
We headed to Raleigh’s HQ in Eastwood to take a closer look at the new bikes. Check them all out in more detail over the following pages.
