Raleigh committed to cyclo-cross in a big way with their 2014 range and have added a fifth model to the range this year.
Topped by the flagship, carbon-framed RX Team, the range now consists of two carbon-framed bikes and three alloy-framed models.
The new RX Team frame, according to Raleigh is lighter, stiff and more compliant than their former models.
Built using Raleigh’s RX Speed Blend Direct Connect carbon fibre, with a PF30 bottom bracket and tapered head tube, the RX Team comes in at £3,500.
Paired with a Raleigh C6 cyclo-cross fork, the bike is dressed with the SRAM Force CX1 1×11 drive train, designed specifically for ‘cross.
New Cole T38 tubular 15mm thru axle front wheels and 142 12mm rear wheels are also included, alongside RSP+ stem, handlebars and seatpost.
The new aluminium ‘cross model, the RX Pro, sits third in the range, and features a light-weight frame and SRAM’s Rival 22 HRD Hydraulic brakes.
