The Rapha Brevet Jersey is inspired by Paris-Brest-Paris – the 1,200km race which runs from the French capital to the Brittany coast and back.

It’s one of two items we’ve called in from the London-based clothing manufacturer for our upcoming test schedule, along with the Classic Winter Tights.

With the demands of Paris-Brest-Paris in mind, visibility and storage were at the top of the design agenda with the Brevet Jersey, which also comes with a lightweight, high-viz gilet, while the Classic Winter Tights are a staple of the winter range.

Over the next three pages we’ll take a closer look at the technical features of each and offer some first impressions before we head out on the road.
