Rapha have unveiled a new Brevet Jersey designed to meet the rigours of Paris-Brest-Paris.
PBP challenges riders to cover 1200km within the maximum 90-hour time limit and Rapha have entered a team, who have tested the Brevet Jersey during their qualifying rides, including the 620km Bryan Chapman Memorial, which packs in 9,000m of climbing.
The jersey, available in sizes XS to XXL, retails at £155 and is made from a breathable, insulating Merino fabric.
The demands of PBP make riding through the night inevitable and all participants are required to meet strict visibility criteria. With this in mind, the Brevet Jersey has two high-visibility stripes around the chest, one in pink and another in a perforated Schoeller fabric. The cuffs are finished in a hi-vis trim and the back of the jersey has a reflective tab.
Other PBP-inspired features include a water-resistant zipped chest pocket to carry a brevet card, three large cargo pockets, a zipped valuables pocket and a large zipped cargo pocket, designed for storing the complimentary pink hi-visibility gilet supplied with the jersey.
