Ag2r La Mondiale will ride the Reynolds Eighty One wheelset at the forthcoming Tour de France.
Although designed primarily for triathlons and time trials, the deep section Eighty One will make it’s Tour debut equipping the French team as part of a mixed pair of Forty Six and Eighty One wheels used on flat and rolling stages.
The high modulus carbon Eighty One includes Reynoldsʼ patented Swirl Lip Generator – a 0.9mm lip on the leading edge of the rim that effectively widens the rim near the spoke face – for optimal aerodynamics and crosswind stability.
And Reynolds say the CTg brake track and Reynolds Cryo Blue pads provide world-class braking performance for the Tour de France.
