Latest addition to the SiDi Ergo 2 Carbon range is the Vernice, which features a chic, patent leather finish for the Italian handcrafted shoe specialist’s top road model.

With precision fit the key to comfort on any ride, the Ergo 2 Carbon has a wealth of features that allow micro-adjustment in order to ensure an almost custom fit shoe. There’s a soft instep closure system with anatomical, padded strap to distribute pressure over the entire instep area and a caliper buckle that locks in two ways, allowing for micro-adjustments to guarantee a precision fit.

The custom-fit feel is further enhanced by features such as the Tecno II buckle, which uses a monofilament line and fine-tooth ratchet, easy to fine-tune when riding, to adjust the upper of the shoe to the shape of the foot. The adjustable heel retention device improves the fit by reinforcing the top of the heel cup, clamping the back of the shoe to more securely envelope the rider’s ankle.

The SiDi Full Carbon Sole is designed with a carbon insert that is thinner in the toe area to provide flex and comfort, whilst retaining rigidity and power transfer in the body of the shoe. Despite the rigidity of sole, blood circulation is not compromised. The thinner design also brings the foot closer to the pedal axis.

But what really distinguishes the Ergo 2 Vernice is the unashamedly Italian patent leather finish. Available in black or white, it is soft and supple for comfort and yet tough enough to withstand serious punishment you throw at them.
