Verenti model year 2014 bikes – first look

Five key models from Wiggle house brand's expanded bike range

Verenti Revelation SR 0.3

The two-strong Revelation range represents the top end of Verenti’s offering, and highlights the ambition of parent company, Wiggle, a frequent point of entry for new cyclists, to retain customers on their ‘journey’ through the sport.

The chassis is a Toray 800, high modulus carbon frameset, UCI approved, and offering internal cable routings for mechanical and electronic groupsets; both Shimano Di2 and Campagnolo EPS. Other de rigueur design features for high-end carbon frames include a press fit bottom bracket (the 30mm axled, BB30 standard) and a tapered headtube that accommodates a full carbon fork.

Components come almost entirely from Shimano’s launched-last-year 6800 iteration of its second-from-top Ultegra groupset, with the exception of the chainset, which is Rotor’s 3D, fitted with conventional, round chainrings (“NoQ”). It rolls on a set of Fulcrum Racing 7 hoops, shod with shallow tread Continental Grand Prix tyres. Finishing kit is from 4ZA’s upscale Stratos collection.

The Verenti Revelation SR 0.3 will be available in white with blue detailing, and in five sizes from extra small to extra large. It will cost £1,800.
