Five weeks to go!
There are just five weeks until the 2015 Etape du Tour sportive and, since the first article in this series back in March, a lot of time, training and preparation has gone by and now it’s time to starting fine-tuning your preparation for the big day.

These last five weeks are not only the last chance to top up your fitness to ensure you complete the Etape in a good time, but also the time to think about the last details that can really help make the difference between a hard slog and a rewarding experience at one of the most iconic cycling events in the world.
In this month’s article, we’ll look at how to fine-tune your form and, having already considered climbing technique, look at how you can get back down the other side quickly and safely. We’ll also consider your equipment choices for an event like the Etape and the nutrition demands of a big day in the mountains in mid-summer.
