Respect. The most important aspect of bunch etiquette, particularly when you’re just starting to race, is respect.

Always give a shout if you’re going to come underneath someone in a corner. That doesn’t mean you have to give way, but just let people around you know you’re there.

When you go into any event, make sure you respect your fellow athletes and competitors. People will give you a bit of room and won’t give you a hard time if you show a bit of respect and, again, that applies to any walk of life.
