Deloitte Ride Across Britain 2012 entries available

Riding 960 miles in nine days, across the length of Britain, in company with 700 fellow cyclists of all riding abilities and with every organisational detail taken care of, participants in the  2012 Deloitte Ride Across Britain will enjoy what for many will be the riding experience of a lifetime.

In the reverse of previous editions, this third running of the annual event will travel from Land’s End to John O’Groats as do the majority of road record attempts between the two furthest points on the British mainland. The Deloitte Ride Across Britain will take place between September 8th and 16th  and will surely live up to its growing reputation as one of the UK’s most demanding cycling challenges.

Some 150 places are still available for the 2012 ride, which is organised by Threshold Sports and which will offer riders an unrivalled level of support from the moment they sign up to after they have crossed the line in John O’Groats. The event team, led by multiple Olympic champion James Cracknell, takes care of everything from food, accommodation, baggage transfers and a fully-signed route with chaperone riders to medical support and 12-month tailored training programmes.

RoadcyclingUK has signed up for the event and will be reporting on event details and developments in the lead up to the departure as well as from the ride itself. To join the ride or find out more, visit rideacrossbritain.com or call 0845 486 2012
