The Cycle Show starts on Friday and there are loads of interactive features to ensure visitors have a packed day.

Energetic visitors are invited to take part in the Tri UK duathlon for their chance to win a top road bike worth £1,500. There are bikes for the fastest male and female on the 6K bike 2K run. Places are limited so visit www.cycleshow.co.uk to reserve yours.

The Outdoor Mountain Bike Test Track will be open for visitors to try all the latest mountain bikes. Exhibitors including Club Roost, Cotic, Cube, DMR, Felt, Fuji, Hope, Iron Horse, Kona, Marin, Muddy Fox, Norco, Pashley, Pinnacle, Rock Shox, Rocky Mountain, Schwinn, Scott, Specialized, USE, Whyte and Yeti will have bikes to try.

The Tacx interactive racing area is a new addition to the show. Visitors can race against the clock and complete classic stages of the Tour de France virtually.

Cycling.tv will be at the show with their own studio where presenters will be interviewing cycling stars including Roger Hammond and legend Eddy Merckx (Saturday only). They will also be showing top cycling footage from across the globe so visitors can sit back and enjoy the show.

Legend Eddy Merckx who won the Tour de France five times will be at the show on Saturday October 7 and visitors will be invited to ask him a question in an afternoon Q&A session.

The Cycle Show also hosts the Onza International Trials competition where some of the world’s top trials riders take on a purpose built indoor course to win £3,000 and the international title. This year’s show has tiered seating and a faster competition format to ensure the action is even more enthralling.

Brand new to the show is the Condor Clothing Retail Zone where visitors can buy the latest winter cycling clothing from brands including Campagnolo, Crumpler, Endura, Gore and Specialized.

With 120 exhibitors showing all their latest bikes, clothing and accessories before they hit the shops in 2007 there is lots for visitors to see and do.

The Show takes place at ExCeL, London on October 6-8. Tickets cost £12 on the door or £10 in advance and kids go for a quid. Visit www.cycleshow.co.uk or call 0870 126 1786 to book yours now.
