Entries are still open for the 2010 Great Western Sportive on June 20th. Organised by Trail Break, the crew behind the Southern Sportive, and supported by Nationwide, the event starts from Nationwide House on the southern edge of Swindon and will take in some of the best roads in the Marlborough Downs and Lambourne Valley.
The route covers 107 miles with four major climbs and 2100 meters of climbing. There are mid and short route options available and riders can expect the following on the day: three fully stocked feed and support stations, two fully stocked mechanical support vehicles from Neutral Service Support, Southern Sportives own roving response vehicle, top quality, comprehensive route marking, transponder timing with intermediate splits on route, instant results screen at finish, tea and cake at the finish and a free tee shirt for every rider.
Willier Bikes will also be at the event showcasing their latest range of models.
