John Ibbotson’s funeral will take place on Friday 7th October at 3pm at St. Peters Church in Walton on the Hill, Surrey.

Arrangements for afterwards are still being worked out. Everyone and anyone is invited and no one is to feel they can’t come.

PLEASE NOTE: Dress code is definitely NO SUITS, TIES AND SHIRTS!

Many people have asked for an address to send flowers… It has been decided no flowers, but a ‘JOHN IBBOTSON MEMORIAL FUND’ has been opened.
If you wish to make a donation the bank said that cheques can be accepted, but it won’t be possible to make money transfers yet as there is no account number yet. The aim is to put this money towards sponsoring a young rider or club or just something close to Johns heart. Putting money back into his lifetime hobby seems most appropriate.

Meet at Cycles Dauphin carpark (top of Boxhill) 0930 on Saturday morning, October 8th. For a direct route to Fannys Cafe (so that people of all abilites can join us). Eat cake in the name of John, and then, once were all fat, anyone that wants, can join us on a longer epic John style bitchin’ hill ride.

PLEASE NOTE: all riders are to look ‘bling’… White oversocks are essential, please everyone try to get some, even if theyre your old socks with holes cut in the bottom. See Ibbo on the right for an example of how to look ‘proper’.
