April 10th, 2008 is the date of the Mosquito Open House which will run at Islington’s Mosquito Bikes emporium from 3pm – 8.30pm.
The idea is to bring together in the shop as many suppliers as possible to give visitors the opportunity to meet the people behind some of the fine bicycles in the Mosquito range.
The inspiration was born one evening in Italy during a memorable evening with Dario Pegoretti. Dario has been keen to visit London for some time and the idea of combining the trip with a ‘Mosquito party’ (as he is hoping it will be!) greatly appealed to him.
Mosquito then thought it would be nice to get as many other suppliers along as possible, so here is the confirmed list:
Mosquito have a few other people lined up but are keeping quiet until everything is confirmed.
In addition to meeting supliers, visitors will have the chance to avail themselves of some Mosquito hospitality and peruse the full 2008 range including new additions Gunnar, Crumpton and Ibis and summer clothing from both Solo and Swrve.
