Ride the Tour stages with Exodus |
Travel experts Exodus are giving you the chance to ride two complete Pyrenean stages of the 2007 Tour de France as well as watch sections of the race live. Exodus has teamed up with Pyrenees and cycling specialist James Thompson to offer this chance to be part of the world’s most spectacular cycle event.
Based in the Ariege and Haute Garonne area of the Pyrenees, during this week long trip there will be the opportunity to ride two complete stages (14 and 15) of the official 2007 route a day or two behind the Tour itself. Cycling amidst the dramatic scenery of the Pyrenees including various excellent mountain cols, the route reaches a height of 2,073 metres providing stunning views across the mountains and down into the foothills.
During the tour watch the exciting mountain top stage finish at the Plateau de Beille and the stage start at Foix the next morning both from well chosen vantage points. For those wanting to push themselves further there are plenty of extra climbs and descents through the mountainous landscape.
