World renowned cycle clothing manufacturer Santini, are pleased to announce the signing of a 3 year sponsorship deal with one of the fastest growing stage races on the professional calendar.

The Deutschland Tour was hailed as one of the most successful races included in the inaugural Pro-Tour in 2005 and is already looking like it will challenge the grand tours in terms of importance over the next few years.

Santini have been the official clothing supplier to the Giro D’Italia for over ten years and to the UCI for over fifteen. Santini are one of the sports most respected cycle clothing manufacturers, having been in existence for over 40 years

Company president Pietro Santini, together with Managing director of Santini Sportbekleidungsvertrieb Gmbh (Germany) Genny Gualandris, were obviously excited by the new venture. Pietro said:

“Germany is an extremely important market for Santini and when the opportunity arose
to sponsor the leaders jerseys it was just too good to pass up. The Deutschland Tour is emerging as one of the most professional and well organised
races on the calendar and hopefully this partnership can grow with it”

The nine stage race kicks of in Düsseldorf on August 1st with a 5.5 km prologue time trial before finishing in Karlsruhe on the 9th.
