World Track Championships

A memorable Championships

It’s hard to say which ride at the Worlds was the best. All is to be said is that the Great Britain Team came away with some memorable victories. Most notably Victoria Pendletons Gold in the Sprint and Mark Cavendish and Rob Hayles finally cracking the Madison… Then the Team Pursuit and Team Sprint Golds followed by a very scary kierin 4th place from Jamie Staff (how fearless are those guy’s?). Needless to say that this is the finest performance at a World Championships by a GB team and with the increased media coverage Track racing looks as healthy as ever for Great Britain.
