Fulcrum have unveiled the Racing Quattro wheelset, which will retail at £299.99 to occupy a convenient gap between the Racing 3 and Racing 5 hoops in the company’s existing range.
The Racing Quattros have a 35mm-deep aero profile aluminium clincher rim, with 16 stainless steel, straight pull aero spokes on the front wheel and 21 on the rear, running on Fulcrum’s fully sealed cartridge bearing hubs. Claimed weight is 1,710g for what Fulcrum describe as an “all-round” wheelset.
We spotted a pair of these when we took a look at the new Wilier Cento 1 SR and can confirm that the graphics and red spoke nipples look great. We’ve got a set on their way to us to find out how they ride.
