Gore Bike Wear have extended their autumn/winter base layer collection by introducing a Windstopper range.
A man-made polypropylene fabric is used across all of Gore existing base layers, and they say that results in a garment which does not absorb moisture, feels comfortable against the skin and offers antibacterial protection to stave off body odour.
So what’s new? Base layers with an additional Windstopper lining will offer protection on cold and windy days, providing an additional defence against the elements.
Three products make up the new range. The Functional Short Long uses an elasticated and softly brushed fabric for a high degree of comfort, the Functional Turtleneck stores more heat because of its long sleeves and high collar, while the Functional Thermo Shirt Long is designed for deep winter thanks to a polypropylene fabric that is thicker than the other two versions.
Prices start at £42.99. See www.gorebikewear.co.uk for more information.
