Northern Rock Cyclone Cycling Festival entries open November 1

Entries for the 2012 Northern Rock Cyclone Festival of Cycling, which takes place over four days from June 28 to July 1 next year, open on November 1.

The event will be even bigger than in 2011 and will incorporate The Tyne 6 Bridges Leisure Rides, the Newcastle Leazes Criteriums, the title event Northern Rock Cyclone Challenge cyclosportive on the Saturday and finally, on Sunday July 1, the Women’s National Series Road Race and the 61st edition of the Beaumont Trophy, which is a  Premier Calendar road race.

The Northern Rock Cyclone Challenge cyclosportive offers a choice of three routes over 104, 66 and 33 miles; entry costs £25 for adults and £12.50 for participants in either of the two Youth Rides.
