Online entries open for 2012 Giant's Causeway Coast Sportive

Online entries have opened for the 1,000 places available for the 2012 Giant’s Causeway Coast Sportive, which takes place on Saturday September 15.

Three routes are offered along the iconic Irish coastline. The 115-mile routes leads riders up climbs of more than 20 per cent after 100 miles.

The 78-mile Glens and Coast route crosses the Glens of Antrim. Riders will have the choice to tackle or bypass the challenging Torr Head Road at the ‘decision time’ feeding station 65 miles into the route.

An entry-level route is offered with the 35-mile Causeway Coaster, which cuts through breathtaking scenery and passes the Bushmills whiskey distillery, the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge and the Giant’s Causeway UNESCO World Heritage Site.
