Rollapalaluza Winter League Grand Finale

The final event of the hugely popular Rollapaluza winter league takes place this Wednesday at the Reliance Square Studios, New Inn Yard, London EC2, the finest venue of the series so far, where there will be secure bike-parking and, in a Rollapaluza first, showers!

Accessories brand Knog will be supplying the prizes for the overall competition with over £800 worth of prizes including Pig Dog courier bags, plus a set of lights for each winner. There will also be prizes for the fastest overall time as well as a few surprises and give-aways.

You do not have to be a contender in the league to enter and this is a great opportunity for first-timers to try roller-racing in central London.

Qualification is from 6pm and knockout rounds start at 9pm. It’ll cost a fiver to experience the electric Rollapaluza atmosphere whether as a spectator or competitor.

Donkey Derby 2. The Second Annual London Open Courier Rollapaluza Championships

A return to Rollapaluza’s spritual home at The Horseshoe Pub, 24 Clerkenwell Close, London EC1, the scene of London’s first courier roller-race and birthplace of Rollapaluza.

This event, on Friday 20th March 2009, is for working couriers only but loud, cheering spectators are more than welcome as every penny taken on the door will go directly to injured couriers unable to work.

Master of ceremonies for the night will be living legend Buffalo Bill of Moving Target backed by courier DJs.

£5 to race or spectate, from 7pm.
