After 21 stages, 2,132 miles and one of the most closesly-fought Tours in history, we have a winner for the RCUK Trek Fantasy Tour de France. Congratulations Alain Deluche – the Trek Madone 5.2 is yours!

Alain’s nine-rider squad, Boulens Racing Team, racked up 2,195 points to top the pile after three weeks of racing.

Just like the general classification battle, where Cadel Evans overhauled brothers Andy and Frank Schleck on the penultimate stage to win the Tour, it went down to the wire, with Mark Jowett‘s Jows Jokers finishing just 30 points adrift in second to win a set of Bontrager Lite XXX Lite wheels.

Meanwhile, Karen Chapman, whose Take That outfit completes the top three with 2,136 points, walks away with Leopard Trek team kit, a Bontrager Oracle helmet and RXXXL shoes.

Karen also gets her hands on a set of Bontrager All Weather Hardcase Tyres after amassing 795 points over the course of the first seven stages to be crowned Team of the Week.

Ad Jansen wins the week two prize after his TWC Adje team earnt 731 during the second week, while forum regular Neil Dunbar takes the final gong after his Lemon Cheesecake squad scored 725 points for the final seven stages.
