A new points participation challenge will be part of UCI Highclere Castle Sportive on Sunday 8th June 2008.
Victor Ludorum Points Challenge:
This challenge is open to all teams whether entered as a Club, Company, Organisation or Sports Association.
Earn a point for your team by just taking part and completing a course
Each member of the team will earn up to 6 points whatever distance is completed on the day
Trophy will be awarded to the team accumulating the most points
Participation from all levels of cycling abilities
Encourages teamwork; each team member matters
Raises donations for The Fire Fighters charity through private and/or Corporate sponsorship
This is how it works:
Enter either the 200km, 120km or 70km distance challenge and
Enter your Club, Company, Organisation and Sports Association team (Spelt correctly!)
The following points will be applied regardless of the distance entered:
Achieve Gold Standard – earn 6 points for your Team
Achieve Silver Standard – earn 3 points for your Team
Achieve Bronze Standard – earn 1 point for your Team
All points earned will be allocated to your Club, Company, Organisation, Sports Association team
Points Challenge trophy will be awarded along with Fire Fighters sponsorship donation recognition award.
