The fifth Rouleur Annual goes on sale on Friday 2nd December and, as ever, packs a stunning array of articles and photography covering subjects as diverse as the Berlin Six-Day and the stories of Brits who have ridden it and a photo gallery by Wig Worland of comatose participants in this year’s Paris-Brest-Paris.
The Annual’s writers and photographers have travelled the globe to find the very best stories from 2011; stories include an essay on the Tour of California by Taylor Phinney, a celebration by author and TV commentator Ned Boulting of perhaps the best Tour for years and a piece by Herbie Sykes and Paolo Ciaberta on the bizarre Giro di Padania, in which a bemused peloton finds itself caught slap-bang in the middle of a crazy mix of rightwing politics, leftwing protests and general mayhem.
At 320 pages, the annual is priced at £37 and is available through rouleur.cc
