Our series of preview articles for the London Bike Show included an enticing look at the Cyfac Absolu SI, an £8,000 dream machine as unforgiving in its quest for speed as it is on the wallet.
Now, as the cycle industry prepares to reconvene at Silverstone for the Core Bike Show and the Bike Place Show next week, here’s another of the French master builder’s luxurious products.
The Absolu SI’s kinder cousin, the Cyfac Gothica, a sportive bike par excellence, combines the no-compromise approach to quality witnessed on the Absolu SI with a more forgiving geometry.
This particular beauty, equipped with Shimano Dura Ace Di2, Dura Ace wheels and Deda finishing kit, will be available for suitably well-heeled customers to try after the show closes on January 30.We’ve already got our names down with our friends at Velobrands.
Keep your eyes peeled on RoadCyclingUK throughout February for suitably desirable sportive mounts as our focus turns to mass participation rides ahead of the season proper in March.
Both the Core Bike Show and the Bike Place Show are trade-only affairs, but we’ll be reporting from each, so check back for reports of desirable new kit from the distributors exhibiting at both shows.
