With the WorldTour season about to kick-off, pro teams are embarking on their final pre-season training camps to fine-tune form ahead of the 2012 campaign.

These shots from photographer Tim de Waele give you a behind the scenes glimpse at life on an Omega Pharma-QuickStep training camp. Nineteen of the team’s 29 riders are in Benicassim, Spain enjoying – judging by these photos – wall-to-wall sunshine and plenty of time in the saddle.

The team’s six Tour Down Under riders – Gerald Ciolek, Gert Steegmans, Matt Brammeier, Andy Fenn, Serge Pauwels and Matteo Trentin – are absent, along with Niki Terpstra and Iljo Keisse, while Levi Leipheimer remains at his training base in California.
