elete Electrolyte Add-In is an electrolyte replacement, offered in both liquid and tablet form, that is obtained by evaporation of mineral-rich water from the Great Salt Lake in the state of Utah. It contains, in easily-assimilated, ionically-charged form, all four key electrolytes – magnesium, potassium, calcium and sodium – plus other trace elements and is intended both to aid rehydration during excercise and to prevent the onset of muscle cramps.
It contains no additives, has no calorific value and can be added to any sports drink and even some foods. An optimal balance of electrolytes is said to reduce the amount of water needed for effective hydration by up to 40 percent, while the liquid concentrate delivery mode makes it quick and easy to use.
