Yorkshire took the headlines for the stunning Grand Depart to this year’s Tour de France, but stage three from Cambridge to London attracted supporters in their masses too.
And this video, shot from the bikes of Geraint Thomas and Bernie Eisel provides the view from inside the peloton of that stage.
Highlighting the talking that goes on between the riders, and the way the pace was ramped up as London approached, Richie Porte and Chris Froome feature prominently.
As the rain battered the peloton shortly before their arrival in the capital, the marking of rivals such as Vincenzo Nibali can also be seen.
