The 2015 WorldTour season kicks off in Adelaide on Tuesday, when the 17 teams at cycling’s top level roll out for the Tour Down Under.
With new signings, new jerseys and new bikes aplenty, there is much to look forward to between now and the season-ending Giro di Lombardia, including the Spring Classics and three intriguing Grand Tours, if their respective route announcements are anything to go by.
Movistar and Alejandro Valverde topped the team and individual world rankings last season and both will face fierce competition if they are to retain their crowns in 2015.
