The 2014 Tour of Britain came to an end with a split stage in London, where Sir Bradley Wiggins (Team Sky) and Marcel Kittel (Giant-Shimano) won on the day, and Dylan van Baarle (Garmin-Sharp) secured overall victory.
Wiggins, riding his first time trial since being crowned national champion for the third time, romped to victory on the 8.8km course ahead of Sylvain Chavanel (IAM Cycling) and Steve Cummings (BMC Racing).
Kittel then took centre stage, beating Mark Cavendish (Omega Pharma-QuickStep) and Nicola Ruffoni (Bardiani-CSF) to the line in a bunch sprint at the end of an 88.8km circuit race.
