Britain’s biggest UCI one-day race rolls out of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Sunday (August 10) with an elite cast set for the start line.
Former world champion Philippe Gilbert (BMC Racing) and 2012 Tour de France winner Sir Bradley Wiggins (Team Sky) top the billing for the second edition of the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic.
Rated 1.HC by the UCI, the 193km race is the third British UCI Europe Tour event of the season and by far the biggest of the three one-day races, with seven WorldTour teams due on the start line.
Omega Pharma-Quickstep and Cannondale will be among the other teams mixing it with Britain’s UCI Continental teams and some of the biggest Pro Continental teams on the circuit.
